Vamsi Vegamoor is a Senior Engineer at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company based in Akron, Ohio.
Vamsi received his PhD from Texas A&M University. His graduate work was funded by U.S. Department of Transportation through a mix of grants as well as the Dwight Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship. His research interests lie in cooperative platooning, V2X, vehicle control, sensor fusion and advanced driver assistance systems. At Goodyear, he is leading projects at a niche intersection of tire intelligence and automated driving in the Intelligent Mobility Solutions department. He is also actively involved with SAE Journal of Connected and Autonomous vehicles as an Associate Editor.
