Dr. Ruben Strenzke, M.Comp.Sc., is working as Senior Functional Safety Engineer for Highly-Automated Driving at TÜV SÜD America. Before collecting 3 years of experience as Systems Engineering Lead in different Robotaxi and Yard-Truck Autonomy projects (UD Trucks/Isuzu, Motional/Aptiv), he performed research and Systems Engineering in the field of Unmanned Aerial Systems and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles for 11 years (NATO, Airbus, Bundeswehr University Munich). This included 5 years in human factors research. Besides teleoperation, his main interest lies in behavioral requirements for Autonomous Vehicles, and relating to that he helped Singapore's Land Traffic Authority to write the Technical Reference TR 68.
