Lauren Silverstein is a System Engineering Manager at Cruise who ensures safe, reliable, compliant, and high-performing services and products that support Cruise’s ridehail and delivery businesses. Prior to Cruise, Lauren worked at Nuro as a Safety Lead, where she was responsible for implementing SMS principles and processes; Uber ATG as a System Safety Engineer, where she led major safety initiatives and led ATG’s internal review of the Tempe crash; and SpaceX as a Systems Engineer supporting their NASA and U.S. Air Force satellite missions. Lauren earned her Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Duke University.
