Kyle Post is the Systems Safety Technical Leader at Ford Motor Company; he has over 22 years of real-time controls and embedded software experience. Mr. Post has led the development of projects at all stages of the product lifecycle and has previously held the positions of Automated Driving System – Systems Engineering and Safety Supervisor, Functional Safety Supervisor, and Systems Engineering Senior Engineer. Mr. Post is a co-founder of the Object Management Group’s new Risk Analysis and Assessment Modeling Language (RAAML) specification. In addition, Mr. Post is a United States national delegate for ISO Working Group 8 which releases automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262, Functional Safety and ISO 21448, Safety of the Intended Functionality. Prior to working at Ford, he worked in the area of controls for a number of different industries including aerospace, biomedical, and building controls. Mr. Post holds a Masters in Product Development and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in controls.
